A  Motion Scape Project

Alex M Schell  -  Creator/Dancemaker

 

A native North Carolinian, Alex M Schell graduated with honors from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Dance, where she had the privilege of performing works by Jim Sutton, Pamela Pietro, Stacy Spence and Alwin Nikolai (under the direction of Alberto del Saz).  During her second year she was selected to travel to Salzburg, Austria to take part in the SEAD exchange program, where she took class from international dance artists.  

 

Post-graduate, Alex has performed with Naomi Goldberg Hass, Amanda Szeglowski, Sarah A.O. Rosner, Deborah Corrales, Holly Heidt, Lara Gemmiti, and Bridget Struthers.  Alex is currently performing  with MATYCHAK (Nathalie Matychak, artistic director), Designated Movement Co. (Katie Rose McLaughlin and Dan O’Neil), and in Third Rail Project's Bessie Award Winning show, Then She Fell.
