Nathalie Matychak - Dancer/Rehearsal Asst.

 

Born and raised in New York, Nathalie Matychak is a graduate of LaGuardia Arts High School ('07) and holds a BFA in Dance Performance & Choreography from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts ('10). She has performed in original works created by Sidra Bell, Adam Barruch, Kyle Abraham, Nathan Trice, Stacy Spence and Milton Myers and has been mentored as a choreographer by Stephen Petronio and Doug Varone. She has been privileged to create and show work with her project-based dance company, MATYCHAK, since 2011 at venues such as Joe's Pub, Dixon Place, Symphony Space and The 92nd Street Y. In 2013, she co-founded The Breaking Glass Project to provide a comprehensive multi-part platform for emerging female choreographers of all dance genres based on the concept of nurturing, supporting, and cultivating the up-and-coming generation of female artists.
