Rebecca Allen - Dancer

 

Originally from Staten Island, Rebecca recently graduated with a BFA from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance. While there she performed works by Doug Varone, Ori Flomin, Mark Morris, and John Heginbotham. She also studied in Perth, Australia at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, focusing on contemporary dance and aerial circus silks. Rebecca has danced with Synthesis Dance Project, Mary Seidman and Dancers, and was recently a guest artist in Doug Varone's Choreographic Intensive where she had the opportunity to dance with MATYCHAK and Sum Bones Co. She has just become a company member of CoreDance Contemporary. Rebecca is thrilled to be a part of AMS Project, and looks forward to the many opportunities ahead.
