Maggie Ronan Gavin - Dancer

 

A native of Connecticut, Maggie moved to New York City to pursue a degree in dance at New York University. She graduated a University Honors Scholar with her BFA in dance and a minor in Business Administration. During her time at NYU, Maggie studied yoga under TaraMarie Perri. She became licensed as a yoga teacher with The Perri Institute for Mind and Body, a teaching community dedicated to education and research in the arts and mind-body studies.   Maggie teaches open level MBD yoga classes at Steps on Broadway in addition to several other facilities.

In addition to teaching, Maggie performs with Naomi Goldberg Haas, Dances for a Variable Population in New York City. She has also had the opportunity to work with Stacy Spence, Gerald Casel, James Sutton, and Summation Dance. 

 

Maggie is currently pursuing her MSW at Fordham University to further her education in mind/body studies.
